Terms and Conditions

Impact Dance Studio Terms and Conditions

Assumption of Risk, Release, and Waiver of Liability:
I acknowledge that I have voluntarily chosen to enroll my child in dance-related classes, programs, events, and activities offered by Impact Dance Studio, operated by CreativeOne Productions, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “IDS”).

I understand that participation in dance, acrobatics, physical conditioning, rehearsals, performances, and other physical activities involves inherent risks, including the risk of injury. I knowingly and voluntarily assume the risks associated with my child’s participation in IDS programs and activities.

In consideration of my child’s participation, I, on behalf of myself and my child, hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless IDS, CreativeOne Productions, Inc., and their respective owners, directors, instructors, employees, staff, agents, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, costs, expenses, or judgments arising out of or related to injury, loss, or damage sustained in connection with participation in IDS programs or activities, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I understand and agree that IDS is responsible for supervising students only during their scheduled classes, programs, rehearsals, performances, or other supervised IDS events. IDS is not responsible for the supervision of my child or other children in common areas or surrounding premises before or after their scheduled activities unless they are participating in an IDS-supervised event.

I also acknowledge that IDS is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property belonging to me, my child, or anyone accompanying us on the premises.

Studio Policies and Guidelines

Dance Attire and Dress Code:
Proper dance attire is required for all classes, except Summer Dance Camp or other programs for which IDS provides a different dress code. Students must wear a leotard, tights, and the appropriate dance shoes for each class unless otherwise instructed by IDS. Street clothes are not permitted during regular dance classes. Hair must be pulled back securely and kept away from the face.

Photography and Media Release:
As a condition of enrollment and participation in IDS programs and activities, I grant IDS and CreativeOne Productions, Inc. permission to photograph, video record, and otherwise capture my child’s image, likeness, voice, and performance during classes, rehearsals, recitals, competitions, studio events, and other individual or group activities.

I authorize IDS to use these photographs, videos, and recordings for legitimate studio marketing, promotional, educational, and publicity purposes, including, but not limited to, brochures, websites, social media, advertisements, recital materials, and other digital or print media.

I understand and agree that I will not receive compensation for the use of such photographs, videos, or recordings. I acknowledge that this Photography and Media Release is a condition of enrollment and participation in IDS programs.

I acknowledge that I am the parent or legal guardian of the child being registered, or otherwise have the legal authority to grant this permission.

Annual Registration Fee:
A non-refundable $20 annual registration fee per student is required at the time of registration for each new dance season. The registration fee is charged each dance season, including for returning students. Enrollment for the new dance season is not considered complete until the annual registration fee and any other amounts required at the time of enrollment have been paid.

Tuition and Payment Policy

Sibling Discount:
Families receive $10 off total monthly tuition for one sibling or $15 off total monthly tuition for two or more siblings. The sibling discount applies per family account, not per student.

Automatic Payments:
Enrollment in Auto-Pay is mandatory. A valid credit card, debit card, or ACH checking or savings account must be kept on file. Tuition is automatically charged on the 3rd of each month. If the primary payment method is declined, IDS may charge another valid payment method on file for the account.

Late Fees:
Tuition not paid by the 15th of the month will incur a $20 late fee. The payment method on file may be charged for any outstanding balance, including the applicable late fee.

Past-Due Balances:
Any payment or account credit received will first be applied to outstanding balances before being applied to new or future charges.

Delinquent Accounts:
All tuition and other fees must be paid in full by the end of each month. If an outstanding balance remains at the end of the month, the student may be removed from the class roster and will not be permitted to attend or return to class until the account is brought current.

Continued non-payment may result in the permanent loss of the student’s spot in the class. Re-enrollment will be subject to class availability.

Returned Checks and ACH Payments:
A $30 fee will be assessed for each returned check or returned ACH payment.

Attendance and Missed Classes:
Monthly tuition payments remain consistent throughout the dance year and are not prorated, adjusted, or refunded based on a student’s attendance or the number of regular classes held in any particular month.

Tuition is based on the overall annual dance program and is divided into equal monthly payments. The number of classes and studio activities may vary from month to month due to holidays, scheduled studio closures, rehearsals, recitals, extra practices, competitions, class pictures, and other studio-related activities.

Some months may include fewer regular classes, while others may include additional classes, rehearsals, performances, or activities. These variations are factored into the overall annual program and tuition structure.

Weather, Emergency, and Unforeseen Closures:
IDS reserves the right to cancel, postpone, relocate, reschedule, or modify classes, rehearsals, performances, or other studio activities due to severe weather, hurricanes, tropical storms, power outages, facility issues, government orders, public safety concerns, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of IDS.

IDS will make reasonable efforts to communicate closures or schedule changes through its normal communication channels.

Because tuition is based on the overall annual program and divided into equal monthly payments, tuition will not be prorated or refunded for isolated class cancellations or closures resulting from weather, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of IDS.

When reasonably possible and at the discretion of IDS, a canceled class may be rescheduled, combined with another class, offered in an alternative format, or replaced with another studio activity. However, IDS does not guarantee that every canceled class will be made up.

Withdrawals:
To withdraw from a class and stop future monthly tuition charges, the class must be dropped through the dance portal or IDS must receive notice of withdrawal before the 1st day of the month for which the withdrawal is to take effect. Notice may be provided by phone, email, or in person to studio staff.

Tuition already charged for the current month is non-refundable, and no refunds or prorated credits will be issued for partial months.

Costume Fees:
Students, except those enrolled only in Acrobatics, may require one to three costumes per class to participate in studio recitals. Costume prices vary but generally average approximately $100 per costume. Boys’ costumes are typically significantly less expensive.

Costume Deposits:
A $75 deposit per costume ($25 per costume for boys) is due by October 1 for the Christmas Recital and by January 15 for the End-of-Year Recital. Any remaining costume balance must be paid in full before costumes are released.

Recital Fee:
A $60 recital fee is due by May 31 for the End-of-Year Recital. The recital fee includes a recital T-shirt featuring the student’s name, a medal, and a professional video download.

Account Standing and Performance Eligibility:
All tuition, costume balances, recital fees, and other amounts due must be paid in full before a student may participate in a recital or performance. Students with an outstanding account balance may not be permitted to perform until the account is brought current.

Private Lessons:
Private lessons are scheduled directly with instructors and are subject to instructor availability. Cancellations must be made at least four hours before the scheduled lesson time. If a private lesson is canceled with less than four hours’ notice, the full lesson fee will be charged.

Parent, Guardian, and Guest Conduct:
IDS is committed to maintaining a positive, safe, respectful, and professional environment for students, families, instructors, staff, and guests.

Parents, guardians, family members, and guests are expected to communicate and conduct themselves respectfully toward IDS students, instructors, staff, other families, venue personnel, and guests. Abusive, threatening, intimidating, harassing, discriminatory, disruptive, or excessively confrontational behavior will not be tolerated, whether it occurs in person, by phone, by email, through text messages, on social media, or through any other form of communication.

Parents and guardians are expected to address concerns directly and respectfully with IDS management rather than confronting students, other parents, or instructors during classes, rehearsals, performances, or other studio activities.

IDS reserves the right to restrict a parent, guardian, family member, or guest from entering the studio or attending IDS activities or events when their conduct is determined by IDS to be disruptive, threatening, unsafe, or detrimental to the studio environment.

Serious or repeated violations of this policy may result in the dismissal of the student and family from IDS.

Student Conduct and Dismissal Policy:
Students are expected to behave in a respectful, safe, and appropriate manner toward instructors, staff, fellow students, parents, guests, and venue personnel.

Behavior that may result in disciplinary action includes, but is not limited to, bullying, harassment, threats, fighting, intentional disruption of classes or rehearsals, repeated disrespect, inappropriate language or conduct, damage to property, unsafe behavior, refusal to follow reasonable instructor or staff directions, or conduct that negatively affects the safety, well-being, or learning environment of others.

Depending on the nature and severity of the behavior, IDS may take appropriate disciplinary action, including verbal warnings, parent conferences, temporary suspension from classes or activities, removal from a performance or event, or dismissal from the studio.

IDS reserves the right to immediately suspend or dismiss a student when, in the judgment of IDS management, the student’s behavior presents a safety concern, is seriously disruptive, or is otherwise detrimental to the well-being of students, staff, or the studio community.

Dismissal or suspension for violations of studio policies or conduct expectations does not relieve the account holder of financial obligations already incurred. Registration fees, tuition, costume payments, recital fees, and other amounts previously paid or due are non-refundable except where otherwise required by law.
